An Exceptional Club for Women in Baltimore

About Us

windowThe Clubhouse at 16 East Hamilton Street, in Baltimore’s Mt. Vernon neighborhood, is a simple but charming 19th century former stable. Located in the historic core of the city, the club is within walking distance of major cultural institutions such as The Walters Art Museum, the Maryland Historical Society, The Peabody Conservatory, The Enoch Pratt Free Library and Center Stage.

Founded in 1928 to provide a meeting and luncheon place for women “engaged in or interested in the liberal arts or professions” we continue to attract culturally and intellectually aware women with a wide range of professional and volunteer interests and activities.

The club is open for lunch on weekdays every day of the year except for National Holidays and the month of August. Members can simply lunch there with friends, or participate in a rich variety of diverse programs ranging from several speaker lunches a month, to bridge group, French table, current events table, book club and seasonal events.
